Nima Tested Guide to Minneapolis/St. Paul

The list is current as of 11/19/18.

Here is my running list of the restaurants/foods in the Twin Cities that I have tested with my Nima Sensor!  If I’ve written a separate restaurant review, it will be linked in the name of the restaurant.

Nima – Approved

Hai Hai – Minneapolis

  • Laksa shrimp and grits
  • Balinese cauliflower
  • Vietnamese crepes

Hola Arepa – Minneapolis

  • Black bean and sweet potato arepa
  • Yucca fries with aioli sauce

Twin City Grill – Mall of America

  • Mediterranean salad with salmon
  • Mediterranean salad with chicken
  • Bacon cheeseburger and coleslaw
  • Housemade rolls (tested two separate occasions)

Noodles and Company – St. Louis Park (Hwy 7 Knollwood location)

  • Pad Thai – no chicken (tested 2 separate visits)
  • Zoodles with veggie romesco sauce

Culver’s – Bloomington (494 and Nicollet location)

  • Cheese butterburger on gluten-free bun (tested two separate visits)
  • Grilled chicken
  • French fries (tested three separate visits)
  • Plain vanilla custard

Berry Sweet Kitchen – Minneapolis

  • Chilaquiles

Dearest Baker – Mall of America

  • Macarons are made with no gluten ingredients in a GF and peanut-free facility

Tavern on France – Edina 

  • Reuben sandwich on gluten-free bun
  • Maple bacon brussels sprouts

Original Pancake House – Edina

  • Berry belgian waffle with berries and whipped cream
  • Side of scrambled eggs
  • Apple cinnamon belgian waffle

Peppers and Fries – Minneapolis

  • PB and J (homemade pepper jelly) burger on gluten-free bun
  • French fries

American Girl Bistro – Mall of America

  • Chicken caesar salad
  • Turkey club sandwich and fries

ZZQ Smokehouse – Eagan

  • Fried chicken sandwich on gluten-free bun
  • French fries

Sota Rol – Uptown

  • Tuna and salmon nigiri
  • # 9 roll – shrimp tempura, asparagus, salmon, avocado, teriyaki sauce, spicy mayo & sesame seeds

Chick-Fil-A – Bloomington

  • Grilled chicken sandwich
  • French fries

Chick-Fil-A – Apple Valley

  • Grilled chicken nuggets
  • French fries

Jersey Mike’s – Richfield

  • Roast Beef Sandwich with all toppings

Wahlburger – Mall of America

  • “Our Burger” and loaded tater tots (cheese, chili and bacon)

Burch Restaurant – Uptown Minneapolis

  • Plain hangar steak

Pizza Luce – Richfield location

  • Margarita pizza
  • Pizza Athena
  • Wild Mushroom

Nima – Gluten Found

French Meadow Bakery – Minneapolis location

  • Cornmeal waffle with bananas and walnuts (tested twice)

The Local – Minneapolis

  • Club sandwich on gluten-free bread with side salad (tested twice)
  • Reuben on gluten-free bread

Naf Naf Grill – Eagan

  • Chicken shawarma rice bowl

Peppers and Fries – Minneapolis

  • Tinga chicken nachos

Green Mill Restaurants – Albert Lea

  • Baby Kale and Apple Salad (tested two separate salads)

Sota Roll – Uptown

  • Tuna poke burrito with soy paper

Chick-Fil-A – Bloomington

  • Grilled chicken sandwich (tested twice)
  • French fries

Burch Steak – Minneapolis

  • Roasted cauliflower side with anchovies and burrata (tested two separate dishes)
  • Triple cooked chips

Please note: These tests are only my own. The Nima Sensor website/app also has user tests for many restaurants and cities.
